Knicks' Mitchell Robinson (ankle) expected to play Wednesday

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (left ankle surgery) is expected to be available for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

What It Means:

Robinson was upgraded to questionable on Wednesday after initially being listed out again. He has been sidelined since December 8 while recovering from ankle surgery, so the Knicks will likely restrict Robinson's minutes after the long layoff. He started all 21 games this season before injuring his ankle, but Robinson could come off the bench behind Isaiah Hartenstein on Wednesday night. Jericho Sims might be knocked out of the rotation once Robinson is up to speed.

The Raptors are allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to the center position this season. However, Robinson only averaged 18.2 FanDuel points in two matchups with Toronto, a far cry from his season average of 27.1 per game.
