Joel Embiid (knee) now expected to play Tuesday for 76ers
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is expected to play in Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
What It Means:
Embiid was initially ruled out again, but now he's on track to play for the first time since January 30. 76ers head coach Nick Nurse said Embiid will likely have a minutes limit. Mo Bamba (illness) was a late scratch on Tuesday, so Paul Reed will likely be the primary backup center.
The Thunder are ranked 19th in FanDuel points allowed per game to opposing centers this season.
