Bulls' Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade won't start on Friday
Chicago Bulls guard/forward Jimmy Butler and guard Dwyane Wade will not start Friday's game versus the Miami Heat as punishment for their comments following Wednesday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
The Bulls' best two players are being disciplined for their outburst after the team's embarrassing collapse on Wednesday. Doug McDermott and Paul Zipser are starting in their place, but still are best to be avoided in year-long leagues and DFS due to the uncertainty of how long the 'ceremonial' suspension lasts. Butler and Wade's value does take a hit due to the likelihood of playing less than 30 minutes on Friday.
If you feel like taking a leap of faith, our models prefer McDermott to Zipser for fantasy purposes on Friday night, and we project him to record 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.8 3-pointers in 25.3 minutes.
