Cleveland's Kevin Love (knee) to undergo surgery, miss six weeks
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (knee) will undergo a left knee scope, and is expected to be sidelined for six weeks.
This timeframe for return would have Love back with two weeks left in the regular season, so this certainly isn't worst-case scenario for the Cavaliers, who currently sit two games ahead of the Boston Celtics for first place in the East. Look for Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson to both see increased workloads in Love's absence.
Love has been having a terrific season, and his 5.8 nERD is good for second among Cavs players as well as 22nd in the NBA.
