Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins will serve one-game suspension Wednesday
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center DeMarcus Cousins will be suspended for Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons after the NBA upheld his 18th technical foul.
Cousins will continue to serve a one-game suspension for every other technical foul he's assessed for the rest of the season. Expect Dante Cunningham to start at the four and Anthony Davis to slide back over to the center spot with Boogie unavailable. Jrue Holiday will also benefit.
Through his first three games in New Orleans, Cousins is averaging 23.3 points, 13.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in only 29.3 minutes per contest. His 6.3 nERD is 21st in the NBA and second on the Pelicans.
