Robert Covington (meniscus) out for the rest of Sixers' season
Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (right knee) will miss the rest of the season after an MRI revealed a slight tear of his lateral meniscus in his right knee.
Covington and the Sixers will now have to decide the best course of action for his recovery, either rest or surgery. In his place, expect Justin Anderson to start and rack up the minutes for Philly. Covington should be good to go at the start of the 2017-18 season.
Covington's season ends with 13.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.9 steals, 1.0 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers per game while posting a -2.4 nERD rating -- ranking him 395th out of 479 NBA players.
