Blazers will be without Jusuf Nurkic (fibula) for at least two weeks
An MRI revealed Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic has a non-displaced right leg fibular fracture and he will be sidelined for at least two weeks.
Awful news for the Blazers as this will end Nurkic's regular season. The team is up two games on the Denver Nuggets for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West but could be without their big man even if they make the postseason. Meyers Leonard will likely start in Nurkic's place with Noah Vonleh earning more minutes as well.
Nurkic was averaging 15.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in the 20 games he played in a Blazers uniform.
