Jeremy Lin ruptures patellar tendon in Nets' loss, out for season
Brooklyn Nets guard Jeremy Lin is out for the season after suffering a patellar tendon rupture in Wednesday's 140-131 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
With Lin done, Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert will likely see more opportunity this season while D'Angelo Russell will be asked to take on an even larger workload for the Nets. Isaiah Whitehead may also work his way into Brooklyn's rotation. Lin turned 29 in August.
Lin finishes the year with 18 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field and 7-for-7 on free throws while adding 4 steals and 3 turnovers in just under 26 minutes of play. He also converted on his one 3-point attempt.
