76ers' Joel Embiid frustrated with sitting back-to-backs

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid said that he wants more post touches and to play in back-to-back games.

What It Means:

In Friday's 102-92 loss to the Boston Celtics, Embiid went for 11 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocks in 28 minutes. After the game, though, he expressed his frustrations, saying "I didn't get the ball enough in the post" and "I feel like I'm not an NBA player because I can't play back-to-backs." Embiid is being held out of Saturday's game as a part of the 76ers' precautionary measures for their franchise player. Amir Johnson will likely start with Jahlil Okafor backing him up.

Projected for 15.7 points and 36.1 FanDuel points in the matchup, The Process will have to wait until Monday to take on the Detroit Pistons. He's projected to tally 19.3 points and 39.6 FanDuel points in his return.
