Pelicans' Anthony Davis suffered no structural damage in knee
The MRI on New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis showed no structural damaged in his injured left knee.
According to The Vertical's Shams Charania, Davis has swelling in his knee and will be considered day-to-day with the issue. The star power forward left Tuesday night's game after appearing to tweak his knee in the first quarter of action. His status for Thursday is up in the air, with Cheick Diallo and Dante Cunningham set for more minutes in the event that Brow sits. DeMarcus Cousins would carry an even heavier load on the offensive end, too.
For Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings, Davis is projected for 27.7 points, 12.3 rebounds and 2.6 blocks. That would amount to 55.0 FanDuel points in 37.3 minutes, a large chunk of production and time that would need to be filled if the Pelicans are cautious with their star big.
