Nets' D'Angelo Russell (knee) undergoes arthroscopic surgery
Brooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell underwent arthroscopic surgery on Friday to remove loose bodies in his injured left knee.
Russell was already expected to miss "several games" after he suffered a left knee injury on November 11th. He hasn't been given an official timetable and this could be why. Whatever Russell's timetable was, it's probably going to be an extra week or two until he's able to be cleared for play. Spencer Dinwiddie will continue to log as many point guard minutes as he can handle with Russell out.
In his first year with the Nets, our models like Russell to average 16.4 points, 5.6 assists and 4.0 rebounds over 54 games the remainder of the 2017 season.
