Report: Clippers' DeAndre Jordan desires trade to Rockets

According to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan wants to be traded to the Houston Rockets.

What It Means:

During Tuesday's episode of First Take, Smith said he heard that Jordan wanted to be traded to Houston. It would be a little harder to see that with the skirmish between the two teams a night ago, but Jordan might want to reunite with Chris Paul. We'll have to wait and see how much substance there is to this report, but even if it's true the Rockets have to be happy starting Clint Capela at a cheaper salary.

This season, Jordan is averaging 11.8 points, 14.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 32.1 minutes a game. He averaged more points, field goal attempts and blocks per game with Paul in L.A. a season ago.
