Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) out for the season

New Orleans Pelicans center/forward DeMarcus Cousins underwent an MRI, and was diagnosed with a full rupture of his left Achilles tendon, per Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

What It Means:

The MRI results confirm that Cousins will miss the rest of the season, and also puts the start of his 2018-19 season in doubt. Darius Miller and Dante Cunningham will likely see a boost in production moving forward.

Cousins averaged 53.2 FanDuel points per game this season.
