Anthony Davis 'OK' with playing center for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony told the media that he's "OK" with playing center following DeMarcus Cousins' (Achilles) season-ending injury.
Davis has always been reluctant to play center as he believes himself to be a natural power forward. But, with only Omer Asik as an option to play the five, he will be forced to move over for the remainder of the season. Dante Cunningham and Darius Miller could play most of the minutes at power forward going forward.
With averages of 26.5 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game, Davis is projected for 27.2 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks the rest of the year without Cousins.
