Cavs' Kevin Love breaks hand against the Pistons, likely out 6-to-8 weeks
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love suffered a broken hand in Tuesday's game versus the Detroit Pistons, per Jason Lloyd of The Athletic. He is expected to miss the next 6-to-8 weeks.
Love specifically suffered a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metacarpal in his left hand. Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic sustained a similar injury back in December and was given a comparable timetable. With Love out, expect Jae Crowder to re-join the starting lineup with Jeff Green and Channing Frye to see an uptick in minutes as well.
Love collected no stats in 5 minutes of action on Tuesday. He has averaged 18.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 33.3 FanDuel points per game this season.
