Isaiah Thomas will come off the bench for the Lakers on Saturday
Newly acquired guard Isaiah Thomas will debut off the bench for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
Thomas and coach Luke Walton reportedly had dinner on Friday to discuss his role and expectations with the Lakers. He will have the opportunity to join the starting lineup eventually, but will initially come off the bench as he gets acclimated with the offense. Lonzo Ball (knee) remains out, which could help Thomas see solid minutes right away, but it's unclear how playing time will be divvied up when Ball returns.
Tonight, numberFire projects Thomas for 24.4 FanDuel points in 27.6 minutes of action.
