Spurs' Kawhi Leonard (quad) returns to rehab, remains without timetable for return

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard returned to rehab this week in New York and remains without a timetable for a return.

What It Means:

It was the second time this year that Leonard returned to rehab his quad injury under outside medical personnel. He has been in New York since Monday and has yet to return to the team. With only five games remaining in the team's regular season, a return looks less likely at the moment. If and when he's back, LaMarcus Aldridge would see a hit in usage with Kyle Anderson getting less run.

Our models project Leonard to play 304 minutes and contribute 169 points over the rest of the season.
