Stephen Curry (knee) reportedly aiming to return for Warriors in second round
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (knee) is "targeting expected return at some point in the Western Conference semifinals," according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Thursday that he doesn't expect Curry to play in the first round but he's scheduled for an evaluation on Saturday that should provide some clarity on his status for the potential semifinals matchup. Quinn Cook will draw another start on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1.
Curry averaged 43.8 FanDuel points in 32.0 minutes per game this season and the Warriors went 17-14 without him this season, compared to 41-10 when the two-time MVP played.
