College Basketball's Elite 8 Freshman During the 2016-17 Season So Far
7. Lonzo Ball, UCLA Bruins
Lonzo Ball is certainly living up to the hype and the Bruins are 14-1 because of him. So, the fact that he's seventh on this list doesn't say as much about him as it does others.
After all, he is putting up averages of 14.3 points, 8.1 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 35.2 minutes per game. That type of all-around game has earned the point man a total of 3.0 win shares and a rate of .227 per 40 minutes.

Don't let the numbers fool you -- Ball's not just another efficient point guard. At 6'6", he's explosive and can finish with the best at the rim.
