The 10 Best Individual College Basketball Seasons Since 1995
9. Anthony Davis, Kentucky Wildcats (2011-12)
Once again, the best player in the nation was, in fact, the best player. For his Kentucky Wildcats squad, Anthony Davis, across 32 minutes, contributed 14.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.7 blocks and 1.4 steals. He made 62.3% of his field goals while also holding opponents to 80.3 points per 100 possessions.
The youngster was great on both ends and efficient with his all-around play. He led the nation with a PER of 35.1 with an NCAA-best 10.0 win shares and .312 win shares per 40 minutes.
Fittingly, the Wildcats proved to be the nation's best team in their one year behind the superstar big man. They won 38 of 40 games and won Kentucky's first and only championship under John Calipari to date.
