The Play

The Math

Prior to Notre Dame getting the ball at the end of their contest against Stephen F. Austin, Thomas Walkup, one of America's favorite tournament athletes, was unable to make a short shot that would've put Stephen F. Austin up by three. Instead, Notre Dame got the rock, and with about 15 seconds remaining, had enough time to establish something on the offensive side.

The Fighting Irish then missed two straight shots close to the rim, but were able to grab the offensive boards prior to tipping it in with 1.4 seconds left.

Madness.
