College Football Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 11/21/19 Single-Game Slate
Week 13 of the college football season continues Thursday night with a matchup between the North Carolina State Wolfpack and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
For those unfamiliar, single-game slates feature five flex spots with identical scoring to the main slate. However, there is an "MVP" roster slot. The MVP receives 1.5 times his total fantasy points, making this spot crucial.
MVP Consideration
Devin Leary, North Carolina State ($14,000) – Leary has seen significant action as the North Carolina State Wolfpack quarterback in each of the last four games. In those four, the
freshman has tossed six touchdowns while attempting at least 29 passes in each. Leary
is a solid play against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets' struggling defense. The Yellow Jackets
have surrendered 78 points in their last two games.
James Graham, Georgia Tech ($12,000) – The matchup with the Wolfpack has been fantasy friendly for opposing quarterbacks. In the Wolfpacks' last three games, opposing signal callers have thrown for a total of 805 yards, accrued 98 rushing yards, and accounted for 13 touchdowns. This is a great spot for the Yellow Jackets dual-threat quarterback. Graham has recorded at least 10 FanDuel points in four out of the last six games.
Zonovan Knight, North Carolina State ($10,500) – Knight is the best option amongst North Carolina State’s
three-headed backfield. In the last two games, the freshman
has rushed for 200 yards and one touchdown on 24 carries (that includes a
matchup with Clemson ). This week’s date with Georgia Tech is a home-run spot
for Knight and the North Carolina State backfield. The Yellow Jackets' run defense is hemorrhaging
yardage and touchdowns. They’re surrendering 213.4 rushing yards per game, and
they’ve allowed 23 rushing touchdowns in 10 games.
Value Plays
Emeka Emezie, North Carolina State ($13,500) – The heavily targeted wide receiver leads the Wolfpack in receiving (averages nearly 10 targets per game). Emezie has 51 receptions, 521 yards, and two touchdowns through 10 games. The junior has at least four receptions in four of the last five games.
Jordan Mason, Georgia Tech ($12,500) – Mason operates as the Yellow Jackets' primary running back. He leads Georgia Tech with 721 yards rushing and seven touchdowns on 134 carries this season. The sophomore ball carrier has topped 94 yards rushing in three out of the last four games.
Ahmarean Brown, Georgia Tech ($10,000) – As mentioned above, the Wolfpack have been
torched in the passing game. Brown represents the pass catcher most likely to
take advantage of NC State’s vulnerable pass defense. The freshman leads the
Yellow Jackets with 365 yards receiving and five touchdown receptions. He’s
tallied a reception of 32 yards or more in six of the last seven games.
Others to consider: Thayer Thomas, Devin Carter, Cary Angeline, Ricky Person Jr., Malachi Carter, and Tyler Davis
