Jackson is going largely overlooked in drafts due to a 2015 that was injury-plagued -- he started 2015 by injuring himself while destroying a blocking sled and then suffered a hamstring injury later in camp.
All of that aside, once Jackson returned to the field, he was part of a passing attack rejuvenated by Kirk Cousins. And he went on and managed to finish 27th in standard scoring leagues for wide receivers in fantasy points per
A closer look at his past two healthy seasons provides some optimism. In 2014, Jackson was amongst the fantasy wideout elite, ranking 10th in fantasy points scored with 187.4 and 13th in points per game at 11.7. This placed him as lower-end WR1 in fantasy.
Jackson was one of the best wideouts in 2013, too, finishing 17th in points scored and 16th in points per game.
In other words, Jackson has clearly shown the ability in recent seasons to be a top-20 fantasy wide receiver, and at his current draft price point in the eighth round of 12-team drafts (according to Fantasy Football Calculator), he's worth the risk for the potential upside that he could bring.
