After Seattle, the Kansas City D/ST is the next best option on FanDuel. In our projections this week, they rank second in points allowed, sacks, and interceptions.

Based on the spread and over/under, the San Diego Chargers are only implied to score 18.75 points, third-lowest on the slate. As a near-touchdown home favorite, the Kansas City Chiefs will have plenty of opportunities to rack up FanDuel points. Over the last three seasons, losing teams have averaged 16.5 percent more passing attempts than the winning teams -- and more passing attempts equals more chances for turnovers and sacks.

A small boost can also be given to the Chiefs in the return game, where they scored zero touchdowns last season. Speedy rookie Tyreek Hill, who returned three touchdowns in 2014 at Oklahoma State Cowboys, will take over return duties and give the Chiefs’ defense and special teams a slightly higher fantasy ceiling this season.
