After a five-sack performance in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota D/ST followed it up with an utter domination of the Carolina Panthers last week. The end result was incredible: 8 sacks, 3 interceptions, 1 safety, and 1 touchdown, adding up to 26 FanDuel points.

Take a look at three of those sacks, notably Danielle Hunter’s obliteration of Panthers’ left tackle Michael Oher for the safety.


This week, they’re hosting the New York Giants at home on Monday Night Football as 4.5-point favorites, so they will only be available on the FanDuel Sunday-Monday slate.

In general, teams playing on Monday night aren’t as highly owned, which is a good thing for tournaments. These teams see a 19% decrease in ownership compared to if they played on Sunday. The average D/ST sees 3.9% ownership on Sundays, whereas teams playing on Monday are owned just 3.1% of the time.

So not only will you get a dominant defense at lower ownership, you will also have one player left in the final game of the slate. And who doesn’t like a little sweat on Monday night?
