Mike Evans is perhaps the least efficient player to grace this redraft, but he is certainly one of the most productive, scoring a touchdown in every game save his matchup against the Denver Broncos shut down defense.

Through five weeks, Evans leads the league in targets with 60, and is the fourth-ranked receiver in total fantasy points. While concerns about Jameis Winston's accuracy (58.5 completion percentage) and the Buccaneers offense as a whole (22nd in Passing Adjusted NEP per play) are valid, Evans is not only the most talented weapon in the passing game, he might be the only one who is even above average.

Vincent Jackson is a shell of himself and an afterthought in most games, and the top tight end and slot receiver are undrafted players with limited skill sets. For Tampa Bay, it's Mike Evans or bust in the passing game, and that has allowed him to see the volume needed to post a top fantasy season.

Evans currently leads all receivers in Reception NEP at 46.81, and his Reception NEP per target of 0.78 is on par with Antonio Brown (0.79). He's also third in the NFL in Reception successes behind just A.J. Green and T.Y. Hilton, demonstrating that when the ball is on target, Evans will make good things happen.

The limitations of the offense seem to be the only constraint on Evans, yet he still appears capable of posting a monster season. He's also received attention from some of the NFLs best corner backs, being shadowed by Aqib Talib, Patrick Peterson, and Desmond Trufant, and he has still produced.

It's also worth pointing out that Evans will face the horrific Saints defense twice during the fantasy playoffs, making him that much more appealing as a fantasy target.
