DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football Helper for Week 6
Quarterbacks
High-Cost Option: Drew Brees ($7,900)
Drew Brees' sublime home/road splits always make him worthy of considering when he's playing in the Superdome. He's especially worth consideration when playing a secondary like the one the Panthers are trotting out these days. Following the release of Bene Benwikere after Julio Jones' monster 300-yard outing, Carolina is currently starting two rookie cornerbacks in Daryl Worley and Zack Sanchez. Brees is averaging more than 300 passing yards and 2.6 touchdowns over the course of his career at home. Brees makes for a fine cash or GPP play considering his consistency and ceiling.
Mid-Cost Option: Russell Wilson ($6,900)
The Atlanta Falcons are currently giving up the most passing touchdowns and second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Russell Wilson could have a field day against them this week playing in Seattle as 6.5-point home favorites. Wilson's been off to a slow start this season but makes for a terrific play against Atlanta this week. The Falcons have one of the worst pass rushes over the past two seasons, and Wilson always has the upside of picking up rushing yards. Coming off their bye week, Wilson should be able to dissect this defense and hit value with ease.
Low-Cost Option: Alex Smith ($5,700)
The Oakland Raiders have been absolutely blown out by opposing quarterbacks, giving up 25.9 points per game on DraftKings -- and that's including Marcus Mariota's 7.8-point flop. The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off their bye week, and head coach is 15-2 in post-bye games in his career. That gives he and Smith two weeks to prepare against a secondary that's giving up the second-most passing yards, fourth-most touchdowns, and the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. If looking to save some money this week and pay up at other positions, Smith is a great option at just $5,700.
Other Options: Cam Newton ($8,1000), Tom Brady ($7,700), Tyrod Taylor ($5,300)
