Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

FanDuel Price: $8,000
Salary Change: Down $500

This may not be surprising, but with 11.9 targets per game, Mike Evans is the most targeted receiver in the NFL this season. With Vincent Jackson on injured reserve and no other true threat in the passing game, it’s startling when he has a down game like his four catch, 66-yard performance last week against the Bears.

But he’s in a prime bounceback spot in Week 11. Playing against the Kansas City Chiefs, he’ll be facing a defense that has allowed the third most FanDuel points to wide receivers this season. The Buccaneers are 7.5-points underdogs, too, which should mean a pass-heavy game script in the second half and numerous targets for Evans.

His $500 salary drop is inexplicable. When an elite wide receiver (priced at $8,000 or higher) sees a salary decrease this steep, they’ve scored 3.5 times their salary 20 percent of the time. Given that his poor outing last week will be fresh in the minds of DFS players, Evans should also see a lower ownership in Week 11. Kansas City is indeed one of the top FanDuel defensive options this week, so there is certainly a possibility of a blowout, but the discrepancy between Evans’ chance of reaching his ceiling and actual ownership makes him an elite tournament play.
