Tight End

Chalk:

Delanie Walker draws the best matchup among top-end tight ends and should be fairly popular in what is projected to be a shootout against the Colts. With Rob Gronkowski likely out this week, Martellus Bennett is sure to be a popular option. Zach Miller should pick up some extra targets with Alshon Jeffery suspended and is likely to be a trendy pick this week, as well.

Pivot:

Tyler Eifert, $6,300 (vs Buffalo Bills): The Buffalo Bills have a tough pass defense, but they have low-key struggled to defend opposing tight ends this season, allowing the second-most FanDuel points per target to the position. Their schedule has set up for them to not play many teams that utilize tight ends, but they have been exposed in recent weeks, allowing the New England and Seattle Seahawks tight ends to combine for 18 catches, 263 yards, and 3 touchdowns over the past two weeks.

They've been stingy against opposing receivers, ranking 22nd in FanDuel points per game allowed to the position, and head coachRex Ryan is notorious for focusing on slowing down opposing team's primary weapon. Last season, the Bills held A.J. Green to just 4 catches for 36 yards on a day that Andy Dalton threw for three touchdowns. If Ryan's schemes are able to slow down Green at all in this one, it's feasible that Tyler Eifert, who has turned 17 targets into 198 yards and a score in two healthy games, is looked to even more often this week.

Eifert is almost a direct price pivot off of Walker, who is sure to see higher ownership and doesn't have nearly the touchdown upside that Eifert does.
