C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Houston Texans
6 Receptions, 82 Yards, 10 Targets
Performance: 63, NEP: +7.47
Wide receivers weren't the only players who struggled with poor passing conditions, and a tight end had to travel all the way to Mexico before we could find this week's top performer. C.J. Fiedorowicz led all tight ends this week in our Performance rating, finishing with 6 receptions for 82 yards on 10 targets.
Playing in the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, the Oakland Raiders were able to pull off a 27-20 victory in a back-and-forth affair. Fiedorowicz led the Texans in targets this week (10), accumulating a 25.6 percent target market share. Five of Fiedorowicz's six receptions went for first downs, providing a reliable outlet for Brock Osweiler.
While he may not have reached the end zone last week, Fiedorowicz was a big part of the Texans' game plan and has at least seven targets in five of Houston's last six games. Among the 47 tight ends with at least 10 receptions, Fiedorowicz ranks 17th in Reception NEP.
Fiedorowicz' lack of touchdowns led to him posting a TE6 finish in PPR scoring formats. His recent steady target volume has him ranked as the fantasy TE6 from Week 6 on.
