6 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 12
Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers
Colin Kaepernick remains criminally under-owned, despite having been a top-10 fantasy quarterback in each of the last three weeks and topping 18 fantasy points in four of his five starts.
He hasn't been an efficient real-world quarterback, with 0.03 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back -- ranking 29th among the 34 quarterbacks with 150-plus drop backs -- but that hasn't held him back in fantasy. A big factor making up for that passing inefficiency is his rushing ability -- as his 43.3 rushing yards per game contributes essentially a full passing touchdown per game's worth of points over a quarterback who doesn't contribute with his legs.
Three of those 18-point performances have come against defenses that rank in the top-half of the league in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, and even in an unexciting matchup against the Miami Dolphins, he should be in for a solid week.
