Quarterbacks

High-Cost Option: Drew Brees ($7,600)

Playing at home in the Superdome, Drew Brees is nearly always an option worth pursuing. The Lions are allowing the fourth-most passing touchdowns and the fifth-most fantasy points on DraftKings. Detroit has allowed every quarterback they've faced outside of Sam Bradford and Brock Osweiler to score multiple touchdowns. The Lions rank 29th against the pass, per our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP metric, and this secondary has been burned repeatedly by opposing quarterbacks. Brees at home in a game Vegas projects for a 53.5-point over/under makes for a no-brainer, considering he's averaging 34.8 DK points per game in the Superdome this year.

Mid-Cost Option: Aaron Rodgers ($6,700)

Aaron Rodgers is priced at the lowest he's been in DraftKings history. On a week with a ton of great quarterback matchups, there's a chance he gets slightly overlooked and has lower-than-usual ownership. Playing at home against the Houston Texans, Rodgers has a chance to go off. Houston's defense is good, ranking fifth against the pass, per our numbers, and the Texans have yet to allow a 300-yard passer. However, the Green Bay Packers have a near non-existent running game, and it's led to the Packers leading the league in red zone passing attempts. Uncoincidentally, Rodgers has been involved in 31 of Green Bay's 32 offensive scoring plays. Averaging 25.6 DK points per game, Rodgers makes for a great cash or tournament play this week despite the tough matchup.

Low-Cost Option: Tyrod Taylor ($5,700)

Tyrod Taylor and the Buffalo Bills travel west to take on the Oakland Raiders, and they are three-point road dogs. Vegas has this game projected for a 48-point total, which is down from where originally opened (50.5). The uncertainty regarding Sammy Watkins (foot) may be related, and it puts a bit of a damper on Tyrod's potential ceiling. However, Tyrod has scored 20-plus fantasy points in four of his last six games and takes on an Oakland secondary that has allowed the sixth-most total touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks. Taylor has ran for at least 35 rushing yards in six straight contests, providing a nice floor.

Other Options: Ben Roethlisberger ($7,400), Matt Ryan ($6,800), Russell Wilson ($6,300), Colin Kaepernick ($6,100)
