Once again, Malcolm Mitchell finds himself on this list, but this week, it's not just about his productivity -- it's about his opportunity.

With Rob Gronkowski officially placed on IR this week, a major receiving void exists in a Tom Brady-led offense. While the easy assumption was that Martellus Bennett would slide into the Gronk role, that simply hasn't happened, with Bennett seeing just four targets on Sunday and catching just two passes for four yards.

Instead it was Mitchell ranking second on the team in targets with 10, which he converted into 8 receptions for 88 yards (Julian Edelman paced the team with 12 targets). This was after recording 9 receptions for 140 yards and 3 touchdowns over his last two games. Brady seems to trust him as of late, and perhaps there is a chance Mitchell becomes this years version of 2014 Brandon LaFell, who closed strong as the outside receiver for the New England Patriots.

Starting him next week would seem to be a major risk, but based on the offense and his recent productivity, Mitchell is certainly worth having on your bench as a injury replacement.
