3 FanDuel Defenses to Target in Week 14

The New England D/ST is another great defensive option this week on FanDuel, but since they play on Monday night, you’ll need to play a slate that includes that game. They’re the third-ranked defense, per our projections, and we currently have them forcing the most turnovers in Week 14.

Their opponent, the Baltimore Ravens, has a Vegas implied team total of 19.25 points, which is right in line with our projection of 18.98 points. Seeing as the Patriots are the second-biggest favorites of the week (-7), the Ravens will likely be passing often to keep up in this matchup. As a result, we project Joe Flacco to throw the second-most interceptions this week, behind only Blake Bortles. This is a reasonable outcome -- Flacco already has four multi-interception games this season.

At $4,700, New England is a good pivot off the likely highly-owned Vikings’ defense. The Pats are $100 cheaper and will offer similar upside at lower ownership. Given the variance and unpredictability in D/ST performances, that makes them a profitable tournament play.
