Michael Floyd had played at least 90% of the Arizona Cardinals' offensive snaps in each of their last two games, but now that he is out of the picture, that will free up plenty of snaps for other players.

The last two times Floyd saw his snap share drop below 70%, J.J. Nelson saw an uptick in workload, with a 94% snap share in one of those games and a 56% share in the other.

His target volume has fallen recently with his decreased workload, but between Weeks 7 and 10 when he played 79% of Arizona's offensive snaps, he averaged 8.3 targets. An increase in playing time will likely come with a big uptick in volume this week.

He should also benefit from a good matchup, taking on a New Orleans Saints defense that our metrics have ranked 28th against the pass.
