5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 15
LeSean McCoy's 32.80 Rushing NEP Leads the NFL
No player has added more Rushing NEP this season than LeSean McCoy, and among all running backs with 100 or more carries, he also tops the list with 0.16 Rushing NEP per carry.
McCoy ranks among the top four running backs in the NFL this season in both rushing yards per game (86.8) and rushing touchdowns (12).
He has been extremely efficient with his carries compared to 2015, when he finished with -0.01 Rushing NEP per carry. If Shady can maintain this pace for the rest of the season, he would top his career high of 0.12 Rushing NEP per carry. Since the year 2000, only 16 running backs have finished a season with a better Rushing NEP per carry than what McCoy currently has.
In Week 16, he will have a soft matchup against the Miami Dolphins, who rank 31st in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per carry. But Week 17 will provide a much tougher obstacle for him against the New York Jets, who rank sixth in that same category.
