This is it. Week 17. If you're still alive in your fantasy football leagues, we have three defenses with great matchups to help you end this season on a high note.

Before we move on, one final status check on our results throughout the year. If you streamed our top option last week, the San Diego Chargers, you were rewarded with the sixth-best fantasy defense in standard scoring leagues. Our top option each week has averaged 9.5 fantasy points per game, which would make us the second-best defense in 2016, trailing only the Kansas City Chiefs (10.4 points per game).

Now, on to Week 17.

As always, we're combing through the waiver wire to identify low-owned defenses with a great matchup. For this exercise, we're focusing on teams less than 50% owned on both ESPN and Yahoo. Our goal is to identify units poised to finish as a top-12 scorer.
