5. 2013 Denver Broncos

In Manning's second season with the team, the Broncos went 13-3 and won the AFC West. They led the league in both yards and points per game.

Manning himself racked up over 5,000 passing yards and 55 touchdowns. Four different receivers caught at least 10 touchdowns, including number-one target, Demaryius Thomas, who hauled in 92 passes for 1,430 yards and 12 scores.

The problem is one we wouldn't expect today -- their defense. They gave up 24.9 points per game and did much worse in Denver's Super Bowl appearance later that year. The Broncos let the Seahawks put up 43 points, while Seattle held Manning to just 8 points.
