This season, Alex Smith seemed to open up a little with playmakers at his side such as Travis Kelce, and he graded out above league average in passing efficiency on a per-play basis with a mark of 0.14 (remember, league average was 0.12 per drop back).

Of his 517 drop backs, 47.39% increased the Kansas City Chiefs' expected point total. That Success Rate ranked him 18th among the 34 passers with at least 200 drop backs. He added an additional 6.85 points on the ground, 15th-most in that group of quarterbacks.
