1. The Falcons Offense in a Dome Is Nearly Unstoppable

There are only so many platitudes you can bestow on a team before it gets old, but it is nearly impossible to understate how historically great this Falcons offense was in 2016.

The Falcons finished the regular season with 540 points scored (33.8 points per game), which ties the Greatest Show on Turf, the 2000 St. Louis Rams, for the seventh-most points scored all-time.

What's even better when it comes to this game is that the Falcons' offense has been even more high powered in dome stadiums. NRG Stadium in Houston has a retractable roof, so it's not exactly a dome, but rain may force the roof to be closed for the game.

Atlanta was still an offensive juggernaut outdoors, but their numbers inside are out of this world.

Even more impressive is that in their two playoff games -- both at indoors at home and one of which was against the stout Seattle Seahawks' defense -- they've averaged 40 points per game. While our schedule-adjusted per-play metrics rank the New England defense pretty strongly (11th overall), they are a touch overrated, and they haven't faced an offense like this Atlanta attack.
