3. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons (2016)

Brady wasn't the only quarterback to enjoy a heck of a 2016 season. A rather new arrival, Matt Ryan, had the same type of success. Ryan finsihed with 9.03 ANY/A and 4,944 yards.

Ryan completed 69.85% of his passes for a quarterback rating of 117.1. His Falcons lost in the Super Bowl, but before doing so, Ryan added an MVP award to his trophy case.
