The 10 Best States for NFL Talent
4. Virginia
CarAV: 933
You wouldn't think anything could beat the likes of Rice, Favre and McNair, but Virginia boasts quite a group, starting with Hall of Fame defensive end Bruce Smith. In 19 seasons, Smith totaled 200 sacks and 43 forced fumbles while posting a career AV of 148.
Smith is joined by the brothers Barber. Ronde Barber enjoyed the better career of the two, having earned a career AV of 111 via 47 interceptions in 241 career games. His brother, Tiki Barber managed to run for over 10,000 yards and 55 touchdowns in his 10-year career.
I would be mistaken if I didn't mention Michael Vick, who, with a career AV of 93, ranks fifth on Virginia's list, having totaled 167 touchdowns through the ground and air as one of the most dynamic quarterbacks the league has ever seen.
