4. Kevin Carter, St. Louis Rams (1999)

Not many people probably think of Kevin Carter when talking about great pass rushers of our time. Maybe that's because he was a flash in the pan during the prime of his career.

In his fifth season with the Rams, Carter totaled a career-high 17 sacks in addition to 4 forced fumbles. His AV of 22 doubled the next-highest of any season in his 14-year tenure.
