5. Broncos Move Up for Bust on Day 1 of '07 Draft

Can we really blame the Denver Broncos front office for trading up? Coming out of Florida, defensive lineman Jarvis Moss had amassed 22 tackles for a loss and 15 sacks across two seasons in Gainesville. So, in need of a pass-rusher, why not take an extremely productive college player. And that's what the Broncos thought.

What they couldn't see is that Moss would be an absolute bust. In three-plus seasons in Denver, he played in only 34 games and posted 3.5 sacks. For his brief NFL career, he totaled six sacks and an AV of 3.

However, the Jacksonville Jaguars took home great value as a result of the Broncos' misfortunes. The Jags snatched up safety Reggie Nelson 21st overall as well as offensive linemen Marshal Yanda and Doug Datish at 86 and 198.

Even with Datish' nearly non-existent NFL tenure, Nelson and Yanda have combined for an AV of 158 in 10 seasons. Yanda was traded to Baltimore, where he's played his entire career. Nelson and Yanda are both active today, and have combined for eight Pro Bowls.
