31. Los Angeles Rams, -7.47 nERD

Last season, just 33.77% of Jared Goff's 231 drop backs led to positive expected points gains. Among 34 passers with at least 200 drop backs, that Success Rate ranked last. In 33rd place was Case Keenum at 41.74%.

Those two Los Angeles Rams passers were the only guys with rates below 42.00%. Goff's mark actually ranked sixth-worst among the 610 passers since 2000 who have dropped back at least 200 times in a season.

That alone can justify the 31st-place ranking. The Rams' offense finished 32nd overall, 32nd via the air and just 31st on the ground.

That canceled out their 16th-ranked defense, which is going to transition to the 3-4 front in 2017 under new coordinator Wade Phillips.

With one of the worst offenses in football and potentially taking a step back with the defense, the Rams look to be in the hunt for the worst record in the league yet again.
