De'Angelo Henderson, RB, Denver Broncos

It's OK if you've never heard of De'Angelo Henderson. After all, he played his college ball at tiny Coastal Carolina. But he was damn good for the Chanticleers, and he's already turning heads in Denver.

A sixth-round pick of the Denver Broncos in this year's draft, Henderson racked up 4,635 yards rushing yards in four years at Coastal (against less-than-elite competition, but still) and scored 64 total touchdowns (6 receiving).

His combine numbers weren't eye-popping, but Henderson carried the load in college -- the numbers above accounted for 45.4% of his team's total yards and touchdowns, which ranked him in the 94th percentile of PlayerProfiler.com's College Dominator metric.

And, in Denver's first preseason game against the Bears, Henderson ripped off this 41-yard touchdown run on a 3rd-and-22 in the fourth quarter.

One play in one preseason game does hardly a sample size make, but that kind of flash could be enough to inch Henderson into the starting running back conversation if he can continue to impress the coaches in Denver, where Jamaal Charles and Devontae Booker are battling injuries and C.J. Anderson's past success might be a total mirage. —Abe Schwadron
