4. Some Rob Gronkowski Concerns Dry Up

There were two major concerns with Gronkowski heading into 2017: injuries and targets. Now, one of those is a lot less prevalent.

Even when Gronk was healthy last year, he never soaked up a ton of looks. He played at least 69% of the snaps in six contests; in those, his target market share was 18.33%. That's not bad for a tight end, but it's hard to get excited about it when the guy costs a second-round pick.

That tempered involvement also came before Cooks was in the fold. You know Gronkowski can eat on limited opportunity, but it's going to make him just as volatile on a weekly basis as any other player at the position. Edelman's injury makes that a bit less concerning.

At least for the time being, health seems to be in Gronkowski's favor, as well. He played in each of the team's past two preseason games, the first time he has done so since 2012. Given how important he is to the offense, they wouldn't have him out there if he were dinged up. Maybe our second concern is also slowly creeping away.

It shouldn't be surprising, then, that the algorithms love them some Gronk this year. He's projected to haul in 69 receptions for 1,014 yards and 11.34 touchdowns. He's the top player in the league -- at any position -- in that latter category, making him a palatable selection in the second round.
