Jared Goff was good in Week 1. It still feels weird to say, and I made sure to triple-check the numbers before writing it, but it's true.

He finished as the QB15 in FanDuel scoring, and his 0.49 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back -- a measure of how many points a player contributes compared to expectation, which you can read more about here -- was the third-highest mark among passers that dropped back at least five times.

That 46-9 blowout win over the Indianapolis Colts also led to a very run-heavy gameflow, with the Los Angeles Rams being one of only six teams to call more run plays than pass plays. As just three-point favorites against Washington, Goff will likely see an increase in volume.

Washington also didn't look good against the pass in Week 1, allowing 300 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air to Carson Wentz.
