Marquise Goodwin, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Marquise Goodwin was one of only five players to account for at least 45% of their team's air yards in Week 1, racking up 115 air yards on 6 targets -- good for a 19.1-yard average depth of target. He ranked second on the team in targets (behind Pierre Garcon), and was tied with Garcon for the most snaps (50) among 49ers wideouts.

I won't sugarcoat anything about his matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, which is an objectively garbage one. They kept Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers offense in check, and Brian Hoyer is certainly no Aaron Rodgers.

Goodwin's significant downfield usage makes him a lot more interesting in a tough matchup than a guy like Garcon, though, with each additional target he stands to receive from playing catch-up having a ton of upside.

He's certainly a risky play, but commanding such a huge portion of the 49ers' air yards is a very promising sign.
