Fantasy Football: Redrafting the First Round After 4 Weeks
Best of the Rest
Odell Beckham, WR, New York Giants
Questions regarding the stability of his ankle caused Beckham to also slide out of our top tier, and he appeared to aggravate the injury on Sunday in Tampa Bay. When healthy, he certainly deserves to be a top-10 selection, but ankle injuries are tricky and this could impact his performance all season if they don’t allow him to rest and fully heal.
Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots
After another strong start for Gronk, you could certainly make the case that he deserves a spot in the top 12, but he hasn’t separated himself from the pack enough to overlook the injury concerns he carries. Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz have been nearly as effective, are cheaper, and seemingly have a lower risk of injury. A sharp spike in touchdowns in the next few weeks could easily make this omission look foolish.
Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons
Despite being shut out of the end zone this season, Jones has looked just as dominant as ever when given the opportunity to produce. But a hip injury that ended his Week 4 early creates uncertainty heading into the Falcons' bye week. Combined with his average scoring output to date, it was enough to keep him just out of our top 12.
